Here's what to know about me.
Beside my passion for gadgets and information technologies, I am also very knowledgeable in the field of motorsports, especially in car tuning. I have been co-founding and presidenting a car club for 4 years, articipating to many events in Canada and in the Northeastern part of the United States. I also give advices to customers wanting to modify their car as an automotive reseller/consultant (for individuals and dealerships).
With my long experience in e-commerce and my job experience in web 2.0 technologies, I developped a passion for internet business, marketing and social media. Life gives me the opportunity to use it in my daily tasks, either part of my career or part of my hobbies and self entrepreneur activities.
I love travelling. I have visited over 15 countries, mostly in Latin and South America, explaining why I speak Spanish. I also have a very diverse cultural background since my father is Vietnamese and my mother is French Canadian.
How I started doing e-commerce
My story started in 2000, when in Houston, Texas, a salesman told me not to buy a video card in his store because I could get it for cheaper on eBay. I then realized all the potential of e-commerce. At the age of 15, I started selling branded clothes on eBay to customers all around the world.
In 2003, following the Dot-Com Rebirth, I got involved in car tuning by selling to individuals and dealerships aftermarket automotive parts purchased through the web. I then founded the McGill Car Tuning Club with Edward Ko, VP of Mechanical Engineering at that time, in order to promote the art of car tuning at the university and to reunite the different car tuning cultures existing in the diverse international student backgrounds at McGill. The SSMU Car Tuning Club was present at many car shows in order to promote its events and my personal e-commerce activities.
